Celia Bryce at the Write Festival , South Shields:16th Sept 23

The Celia Bryce Band played two sets at the National Centre for the Written Word for the Write Festival. As an award winning playwright and author herself, this festival is close to Celia's heart, especially as she was born in South Tyneside.

Playing in the main foyer of a huge library is a little daunting but after some initial struggles with the sound we seemed to get it right. Thanks to everyone who turned up except for the person who wandered in amongst the band videoing us on her mobile phone while we were playing
