A fantastic night in Headingley

What a great place the Headingley Enterprise & Arts Centre is! The acoustic 4-piece Celia Bryce Band played at their Tuesday Night Live to a large audience in the cafe/bar using our new mini-PA. The crowd was friendly, enthusiastic & engaged and the venue spacious yet intimate with good stage lighting - and we played well. All rounded off with an excellent meal of Indian street food at the Cat's Pyjamas just around the corner. Thanks to the waiters at Cats PJs, the staff at HEART, our audience for turning up and Russ & Alison for all their hard work. We will be back with the full band.

Celia Bryce Band @ Hawkshead Brewery

This Friday 8th we are making a welcome return to Staveley. The acoustic 4-piece last played there at the 2017 Lake District Festival and have been invited back for the Lake District Folk & Acoustic Music Club. What more can you wish for - a top class venue with great beer and fantastic music. [and then a 2 hour drive back through the night]

A Snowy Night in Byker

Shakespere would have struggled to decide whether this was a comedy or a tragedy. It started to snow at midday and by the time we arrived at the Cumberland Arms it was deep enough for kids to be sledging. We struggled upstairs with all our gear and the outside temperature fell below zero as a real blizzard kicked in. Not surprisingly hardly anyone turned up. Thanks to those hardy souls who made it and the bar staff who kept us all suipplied with drinks
